Our CG THIN and CG DRESS were created for the patient needing a thin, yet rigid device. You have your choice of 2 composite materials: DBX6® (“Superglass”) and Delrin AF.
Delrin AF: A thermo-polymer with the strength, stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance, & wear resistance of industrial metals. Its compact density and high tensile strength produce an ultra thin orthotic for any patient. Features include:
Super Thin - 2 mm of Delrin AF can firmly support 250+ lbs.
Unlimited choices of control levels from semi-flexible to very rigid
Can be intrinsically posted in the rearfoot for an even slimmer shoe fit
Easily adjusted with heat
No cracking, splintering, or breakage
Attractive, glass-like appearance
Superglass*: A multi layered composite with graphite reinforcements, it offers better functional control with a slimmer profile than traditional graphite/acrylic products such as TL materials and Carboplast. Balanced for frontal-plane motion control for side-to-side activities and high impact sports. CG DRESS has an hour-glass shape through the last, a slightly slimmer forefoot, and pitched for heel-height differential for a truly comfortable fit in a woman’s dress shoe. |

Application: Rigid, biomechanical control and foot stabilization. Can be used for obese patients needing a slim fit.
Therapy: Used for biomechanical problems such as pronation, forefoot and rearfoot varus or valgus, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, metatarsagia, and midtarsal joint function limitations. The CG Dress has been very successful in relieving the painful pressure from bunions in patients that must wear high heeled shoes.

SOFTSPORT is a soft device that offers the patient the flexibility needed to provide just the right amount of biomechanical control for active patients with sports-related foot pain. Fabrication from a cast or impression box is required.
